Post 1

Welcome!

This is the first posting for the class PHTH 502. This is the second part of the two part requirement to finish the Bachelor of Theology degree at American Baptist College. If you are here, you are very close to the conclusion of your educational experience with our school. It is hoped that your has been a great one.

For this course, four things will be required. You could call these the course objectives.
1. Create an outline for the presentation you will make.
2. Create a visual aid to use in your presentation.
3. Present the information you have gathered.
4. Turn in a digitial video of yourself doing the presentation.

You will be graded on the degree of competency with which you complete the four objectives.

In addition, your participation will be graded. In order to score the highest participation grade, you must:
1. Log onto the class site each week.
2. Follow the postings and complete the tasks that are listed.
3. Post, in PARAGRAPH form, your observations of the tasks.
4. Post feed back as well of the observations of others, thus creating a class discussion atmosphere.

You will be graded on the clarity and completeness of your observations. Make sure to start each post with your name and the number of each post/lesson on which you are working. This is necessary because the website sends the instructor a copy of each post but there is no identifing information with which to give the student a grade.

While this class has a less intensive writing requirement than PHTH501, it is STRONGLY suggested that each student begin as soon as possible to complete the objectives in order to have all work done on time. The last day for class is August 3rd.

As always, you can contact your instructor, Dr. William C. Martin, via e-mail wmartin@abcnash.edu or by phone 615-687-6904.

Best wishes and it is hoped that you will enjoy this experience completely.
